QualitySolicitors FJG have raised nearly £900 for the Eastern and London Legal Support Trusts through their recent participation in two annual legal sponsored walks in London and Cambridge.
Both events were 10km walks that saw thousands of lawyers come together to raise funds for legal support trusts, who fund Law Centres and pro bono agencies, helping to prevent the loss of so many advice services for vulnerable people. QS FJG has a total of nine walkers across the two events: Charlotte Digby, Charlotte Knappett, Vanessa Santomauro, Tony Fisher, Paula Fowler, Chris Jones, Katy Fordham, Cate Hammett and Penny Hepburn.
Tony Fisher, Senior Partner at QualitySolicitors FJG said: “It was brilliant that several staff from the firm could participate in the walks as supporting free legal advice centres is fully in keeping with our ethos and commitment in dealing with legal aid and pro bono work. We know that these agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation, and we appreciate how short they are of the funds to continue that work, so to raise almost £900 is fantastic.”
