FJG partner up to run udderly delicious competition

At Fisher Jones Greenwood we are proud of our roots.  We are always keen to support and work with local businesses as much as we can and to be an active part of our communities. That’s why we’ve teamed up with local milkshake company Shaken Udder, based in Maldon, Essex, to run a competition for Chocolate Milkshake Day on September 12^th.

Milkshakes are a popular drink all around the world and have been around since the 1880’s where they actually started off as a Whisky-based alcoholic beverage in America! In the USA, people now celebrate Chocolate Milkshake Day on September 12^th every year.

But with amazing milkshakes right here in the UK from local companies such as Shaken Udder, we don’t think the USA should have the monopoly on chocolate milkshake day any longer….

To fix this injustice, in partnership with Shaken Udder, we’re offering one lucky person the chance to win four chocolush shakes (330ml), two choclush uber udders, six mini vintage-style milkshake bottles and a whopping 50 FJG coloured paper straws to drink it all through!

By running this competition together, FJG and Shaken Udder saw this as a unique route to partnering with local businesses. Shaken Udder was started in 2004 by Jodie Farran and Andrew Howie as a festival-based brand and their delicious shakes (still made right here in Essex) can now be picked up in stores from Tesco and Waitrose to Selfridges and even Harrods.

To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is keep an eye on our social media feeds up to September 12^th, find the relevant posts and retweet on twitter, or like and share on Facebook. The lucky winner will then be picked at random and announced the next morning.

It’s great to be further strengthening our ties with local businesses and to be offering up an extra dollop of summer for one lucky winner. Good luck to everyone who enters!

Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter is: Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, registered in England (Registration Number: OC305854), whose registered office is at Norfolk House, Southway, Colchester, CO2 7BA.
2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of Fisher Jones Greenwood.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Facebook and Twitter.
6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
7. Closing date for entry will be 12/09/2016 at midnight. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

On Facebook:  Like and Share any competition post beginning ‘Today’s the day’ to win.

On Twitter: Retweet any competition tweet beginning ‘Enter our competition’ to win.

10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
12. The prize is as follows: 2 x Shaken Udder Chocolush milkshake Uber Udders (1L), 4 x Shaken Udder Chocolush milkshake bottles (330ml), 1 x milkshake bottle set and teal / purple straws.
13. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
14. Winners will be chosen: at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Fisher Jones Greenwood.
15. The winner will be notified by email on Twitter or Facebook dependant on route of entry, on the 13^th September if they have been successful. If the winner does not get in contact with their contact details within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
16. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be delivered.
17. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
20. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent, except the winners name and address which will be shared with Shaken Udder to send the milkshake part of the prize.
21. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.
23. Fisher Jones Greenwood also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
