At FJG we will welcome you to our Family Law Drop in Chelmsford or Clacton where you are able to have FREE 15 minutes with a solicitor to answer any questions you may have relating to a family law issue and no appointment is necessary. Whilst it will not provide you with in-depth specific legal advice on a matter, it can help give general advice and point you in the right direction. For example, our Family Law Drop In may help provide advice to help you with the following questions:
- What is the process for a divorce?
- What will happen to our finances (such as the house, pensions, income) on divorce or separation and how do I go about sorting it out?
- Who should the children live with and how much time should they spend with each parent on separation?
- My ex won’t let me see the children, what can I do?
- My ex and I cannot agree on certain decisions regarding the children, what can I do?
- I do not feel safe from my ex and I do not feel it is safe for the children to see my ex, what should I do?

Simply drop into our Clacton Office on a Tuesday morning between 10am and 1pm or our Chelmsford office on a Wednesday morning between 10am and 1pm to have a free 15-minute appointment.
If you require more specific and tailored legal advice on your matter and/or would like advice on documents or orders you have received, we can offer an initial 1 hour fixed fee appointment for £150.00 on other times and dates too.
